...with Penny Eifrig. Scams are becoming more and more prevalent, yet people are still often too embarrassed to talk about it. But a scam is a violent crime, not unlike getting mugged. What can we learn about ourselves when we begin to learn about how your reptile brain functions, than when manipulated, can make you (and others) do things that seem inconceivable? Penny Eifrig shares her recent experience with amygdala hijack, and how it can explain many behaviors in today’s world.

Community Event – “Global Warming 101” with guest speaker Dr. Raymond Najjar
The Foxdale Climate Care Committee presents this event. Come learn about the fundamentals of Earth's changing climate, including the evidence for warming, the contributions of humans, the impacts on ecosystems and society, and how our actions now will determine the severity of the threat to our future generations. Dr. Najjar is Professor of Oceanography in the PSU Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science with a joint appointment in the Department of Geosciences. This is a Community Event, so come early to get a seat. This will be facilitated by Martha Butler, G-111.

Song Circle
The UUFCC Song Circle offers a fun, monthly opportunity to make music together with voices, guitars, banjos, ukuleles, drums, kazoos, etc. Anyone from the Fellowship or local community can join us to play, sing, or listen. We go around the circle with each person choosing the next song, either from our song-books or a song they brought to share. Contact Pam Short for more information.

We will share our own recent experiences there with Samaritans providing humanitarian aid to migrants. You will watch a video clip from the PBS News hour with Amna Nawaz at the border wall.
